Products Reviews!

My cutie little nephew, Jaylen 🙂

Here are my thoughts on my Instax Mini 8 by Fujifilm in White. As well as my new Fitbit Alta Fitness Tracker in Black. So, my Fitbit just alerted me and asked, “Wanna stroll?” Hah. Anyway…

Instax Mini 8 Camera:

Design: As you have probably already seen, this camera is the cutest! They’re available in different colors. I chose White because I have been wanting a White digital camera. I almost got a Hot Pink one from Best Buy, since they have a bundle which includes the case and some other stuff. But after seeing that I can purchase this from Michael’s with a matching case that I liked better, I was sold to get the White one.

Pros & Cons: I like the fact that you have a picture right away. After you snap a photo, you literally have your photo printing right before your eyes. Duh, that is the purpose of this camera. I think the films cost a bit much for a single photo. It’s better to wait for it to go on sale. If you don’t get the film on sale, a single film cost around a dollar, which can get pricey. So I recommend getting the film on sale. The camera lens also has settings which you turn the dial. I haven’t experimented much since I just got mine a few nights ago. But I really think this is fun! I highly recommend getting it if you’re thinking to do so.

Fitbit Alta Fitness Tracker:

Design: I love it! It is sleek and it goes well with whatever you’re wearing! I got mine at Nordstrom… I’m shocked they have this there. I’m even more impressed! Haha. I saw that they have a blush pink strap, which I think is cute, too. But after opening and trying on the Black one on my wrist, I’m satisfied.

Pros & Cons: I like everything that it tells you and what you should do. The number of steps you make, it alerts you when to move, it tracks your exercise, sleep, what you eat, etc. It also tells you the date, day and time. It’s like a watch, but it’s a fitness tracker! I like how it’s easy to use and you just sync it with your phone. They have interchangeable straps, which is convenient. A consequence for me though, is that the straps are hard to snap close together. I am still trying to master how to close it easily, without struggling. Other than that, I’m glad I got it. It doesn’t look like I’m wearing a fitness tracker, which is cool. If you have Fitbit, add me!

Hope these reviews help! Christmas came early to me. Thankful to Jesus! I’m very grateful and thanks for reading! If you have any questions, let me know. God bless your week! Love, Iris.

Christmas Wishlist 2016

Hi there! Sorry for the lack of post lately. Christmas is just around the corner, and I keep mentioning on my previous blog posts that I might do a Christmas wishlist. Well, here it is! With no particular order:

1. Instax Mini 8, Case and Films – I got mine from Michael’s last night. I’m incredibly happy I finally got one. ✓

2. Bath & Body Works 3-Wick Candles – I can never have enough candles! Just saying.

3. Ted Baker Scalloped edge shopper bag – I got this at their Sample Sale, and I’m obsessed. ✓

4. Ted Baker Glitter leather cross-body bag – I also wanted to get this, but decided not to.

5. Fitbit Alta – This is one of my early Christmas present for myself! Got it. Yay. ✓

By the way, I don’t know how I managed to give something for myself this Christmas. Especially if it’s tech related like a camera or even a Fitbit. Because I somehow feel guilty purchasing electronic stuff. Same thing when I once bought an iMac with printer ages ago (Ok, my parents got it for me and even with that, I felt guilty and HAD to return it.) Same thing with my MacBook Pro, which I finally get to stick with it, knowing that I need it, which took me forever to do so. I’m simply thankful. So, what’s your wishlist? I love Christmas! It’s the season of giving and Jesus is really the reason for the season. May you have a Merry Christmas!

And The Winner Goes To…

Happy to announce that I have chosen my giveaway winner! For my first giveaway, I wanted to give an abstract painting of “Noel” word art on canvas! It is very fitting for the holidays. Thank you for those who were interested in joining. I made a small announcement of it on my Facebook group and Instagram, in case you wonder where I posted about it. I am also very excited for the coming week! It’s officially the holidays season and Christmas is just around the corner. I think I have an idea of what to get my little nephew! *Shhhhh!*

So I’m debating whether or not to make a Christmas wishlist as a blog post. I have done it on several the occasions in the past. I don’t know what I would want to be honest, but candles are always nice. It would be boring if I made a blog post just about candles, right? So I might not.

Oh, and I got layers when I got my haircut a few weeks ago. I LOVE IT! It is now medium length, and I felt weight off of me. Anyhow, I am getting a hang of posting on my blog again lately, which is nice. Have a blessed weekend!

Holiday Giveaway!

Have you entered my Christmas giveaway? If you haven’t, you should! You will get this abstract art, “Noel” 8″ x 10″. To enter, just leave a comment on this post! I’ll choose a random person and send this. Hope you love it! The holidays are in the air. LOVE IT! I have my winter candle lit at the moment as I write this blog post. I’m also listening to Christmas music, as usual. Total Christmas/Holidays spirit mood right here.

Okay, time for me to work on stuff. Just wanted to post about this giveaway! Please do enter!!! Thank you for reading my blog post. Hope you’re having a lovely day. God bless!

Trying What’s New

Recently, I got myself a new ceramic mini straightening iron by Conair. It’s the cutest thing, ever! I can see myself packing it around if needed. I like it a lot. Along with it, went to CVS and got the Sleek & Shine Flat Iron Perfector Straightening Mist by Garnier. It has argan oil, and it also acts as heat protection and the description says it also leaves the hair smooth and shiny. I’m loving both products!!!

Today, I finally tried The Halal Guys for lunch. I’ve been curious for a long time now. Anyway, I can’t believe we are halfway through November already. I plan on making seasonal related paintings, just a few. So please stay tuned for those. Oh, and I’m trying to look for a new gym. But if I can’t find one, I might go back to my old gym and renew my membership there. We shall see. With that all said…

Hope you have a wonderful week! Thanks for reading.

Photo Roundup

Photos lately are consists mostly of my nephew and myself. Okay, I have nothing much to write, but I guess I can blog about TV shows that I watch. I watch: Supergirl, Survivor, Project Runway and Shark Tank. Anyone watches the same shows as I do? Let me know. I have also been watching Ugly Betty, and I’m determined to finish it. I’m already in Season 4. I have never seen it before, so I’m catching up lately. I know, right? I’m super late. Today, I got Starbucks because they’re offering BOGO on seasonal beverages! Offer until Monday, November 14th from 2 to 5 pm.

Lately, I realized I like ramen… A LOT. I never thought of that before. Ramen is so good though! Anyway, I’m also contemplating on what to do lately. I have three or four art ideas that I still have to work on. Maybe I’ll work on those next week. If you’re interested, visit my Etsy shop:

Okay. Perhaps, I am just rambling on this post. Thanks for reading! Happy and blessed weekend!

Toddler Haul!

Went to the mall this evening after having ramen for dinner. My nephew is fun to shop for! Got these clothes haul for him with my Mom, brother and my nephew, Jaylen. Stopped by Baby GAP. You know who else likes GAP? My Daddy. Anyway, I thought I’d post them to show what he got. ADORABLE!

1. 2-in-1 polar graphic tee // 2. V-neck sweater // 3. NYC logo joggers
4. Stripe ribbed crew pullover // 5. Stripe waffle knit tee 6. NYC logo joggers

These are obviously good for Fall and Winter season. I literally thought I’d blog about this as soon as I can. I’m thinking of doing a favorites blog post and/or holiday wishlist for 2016 as well! If you have an idea for a blog post or anything you’d like to see me to post about, please let me know! The holidays are just around the corner.

God bless, Happy Veterans Day!

OOTD : In Details

I love Fall weather. Living in Southern Cali, I don’t get much “Fall” weather that I would think living in other states or other parts of the country would be like. But that’s okay. So today, instead of wearing over the knee boots, I wore all black, everything. My shoes were leopard print loafers, that are flat and comfortable.

I added a choker necklace, which I got as 3-pack at Tilly’s. It seems like that place won’t have chokers, but they have a good selection. The styles are ones I would actually wear. So if you’re looking for nice chokers and a good price, definitely check out their stuff. My top is from INC, and it is a lace up. I like the loose fit of it.

This is my outfit of the day. I kept it simple and just had a gold watch for accessory, along with the dark gray choker necklace. Anyway, that’s it for today. Happy weekend!!! xoxo

Songs I Currently Love

As promised, I’m going to blog more often. It’s almost Thanksgiving, but I’m in the mood for Christmas tunes! There’s something peaceful and calm while listening to them.

If you have Spotify, you may want to consider listening to the Christmas playlist that I listen to by STEM Church.

Okay, so this is Day 2 for the month of November that I’m trying to write a blog post. I feel less creative in what to write or what topic to begin with. Trying my hardest though! Haha.

I also would like to feature a website, Chic Type Blog. If you’re looking for awesome desktop wallpaper with great designs, THIS IS IT. It also has a monthly calendar. I highly, highly recommend it!

Thanks for reading my blog. I hope you have a wonderful Friday and blessed weekend!

New layout + Pep Talk + Artworks

Thinking of writing on my blog again regularly. I was cleaning my favorites folder and it inspired me to change my blog into a Fall theme/layout! I love it. It looks better viewed on desktop than mobile though. So please try to view it on desktop if you can! I’m actually stuck in a rut on what to write, but I had one of the best conversations today. I decided to call a friend, and I’m glad I did. Anyway…

This week, I painted an artwork and it’s up on my Etsy shop! Just in time for Thanksgiving. “Give Thanks” Painting Acrylic on Canvas. Hope to do more since I stocked up on canvases! Let me know if you want a custom order.

So for the Month of November and December, I am offering logo design at discount! Offer ends on December 31st!

I’m excited about the holidays! It’s the best time of the year. What’s your favorite season/holiday? Let me know. Expect more blog posts, because I will try to write content as much as I can. Thanks for reading! God bless, xoxo!
