Beauty Products I’m Trying!

Hello lovelies! As you can see, I am trying some new products this month. In no particular order:

1) Burberry Weekend For Women Eau De Parfum 30ml – I love the scent of this! I’m not disappointed at all. I got it without even smelling this, but I’m glad it smells good!

2) Mario Badescu Facial Spray – It has Aloe, herbs and rose water! I have been wanting to try this one! I came across this on social media (Instagram), and what made me want it is the rose water. I like rose scents, so this is right up my alley!

3) Urban Decay High-color Lipgloss – I really was looking for lipstick and compact face powder. Instead, I came across this product and what caught my eye is the name. It’s called “Obsessed”. It’s a pinkish tone. I tried it this morning over another lip color and it looked great!

That’s it for now. Are you a beauty junkie? What have you tried lately? Share under the comments and let me know! xx God bless us all!

Quote of the Day!

So, I’ve been blessed to be working on projects and freelancing. I’m really enjoying it, and I am SO SO SO grateful! Thank You Lord for entrusting me. My heart is full of thankfulness. Last night however, I felt like throwing in the towel. It happens. Strangely enough, I felt really hurt and I broke down. I won’t go into details. Maybe I needed it to seek His ways and to be honest, I don’t have any answers.

I like this quote. I totally can relate. It may not happen overnight, but I need to trust Jesus!

Lastly, here is my affirmation: I radiate joy. I seek His light!

So anyway, Happy Wednesday! Love you all. xoxo, Iris

Recently…

What have I been up to recently on my spare time? I have opened a shop through Instagram & linked to my Facebook, which is basically my closet for sale! If you want to check it out, click here. I sell clothing and pre-loved handbags and accessories. I just need to get rid some of my things and I have been wanting to do this for so long. Finally it is here! It’s private currently and only available to family and friends.

I picked up a few items lately from Nordstrom, Macy*s and Target:

Happy Memorial Day! By the way, if you did not know… I’m cutting my sugar. It’s such a bummer. For instance today, I went to 85C Bakery Cafe and I could not have any drinks. I miss having milk teas and bobas! Anyway, hope you have a great week! God bless us all.

Hi there! I’m getting sleepy again, so I wanted to write something even for just a bit. Let’s do a random Friday Five!

I like my coffee black with half and half or with Nonfat milk.

2. How do you like your tea?
I like different types of teas, especially with floral notes.

3. What’s your favorite late night beverage?
Boba! As a matter of fact, any time… boba sounds good anytime.

4. If you could only drink one thing for the next week, what would it be?
Probably a shake or smoothie.

5. If you were on vacation, what would be the first thing you’d drink to celebrate?
Fresh coconut juice! Or anything pretty that’s tropical.

3 Ways To Love Yourself

Hi, my dears! Happy Tuesday and I just want to write something that may lift your spirits up! Thought about this topic, literally just moments ago. I decided to write and don’t want to lose the momentum. Hehe, alright. Let’s get started:

3 WAYS TO LOVE YOURSELF

1. Stand on God’s promises. – It varies from whatever season of life you are in, but we can trust the Lord that if we stand on His promises, He will give you His peace, love and joy.

2. Don’t just sit back. Have goals. – If you’re like me, I constantly think of goals. Whether it may be fitness, design, personal, etc. When you have goals, you have something to look forward to each day.

3. Do what is best for you. – This is something of course you do, as long as you are not hurting anybody. By all means, do what is best for you! Are you constantly thinking about what others might think? Make yourself a priority. Sometimes, we forget about ourselves. Pray about the situation and ALWAYS make sure that when you decide to do what’s best for you, it’s always for good.

Alright, that’s it. Are there some things you would add to this list? Let me know! I would love to hear your feedbacks and comments. Thanks for reading this post! God bless.

10 Things I Would Tell My 16 Year-Old Self

Hi there! I am back to blogging today. I’m actually feeling really sleepy. So I figured why not blog to keep myself awake. Here’s a list of 10 things I would tell my 16 year-old self, if I could. So here it is:

1. Seize the day! Take every opportunity, not just with things that occupy your mind at the moment, but pertaining to your future as well.

2. Be yourself. It’s good to admire and to look up to other people, especially if they are older than you. But remember, you can make a choice to stand out and decide to be your own self.

3. Put God first! As a 16 year old, you have your future ahead of you. Make sure you put Him first and your plans will succeed.

4. Seek first the Kingdom of God. I believe this is important because it affects your life choices and the people you surround yourself with.

5. Follow and obey God. This is like a no-brainer. But when you realize that you’re a Christian, it’s your priority and you will make sure you do so in all areas and aspects of your life.

6. Listen to your parents. They know what is right and what is best for you. I’m blessed with godly parents, and they are an example to me.

7. Time is precious. Time flies! Whatever your goals are, the time is NOW! Don’t wait until you’re ready.

8. Not everyone will like you. Even if you think you’re a likable person, you don’t have to get other people’s approval.

9. Don’t give in to peer pressures. Whatever is going on around you, the latest trend or fashion. Be modest and be an example!

10. Learn to LET GO! It doesn’t apply to me when I was 16 years old, but it would be helpful if I learned how to do so later in life.

Thanks so much for reading this blog post! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! xoxo

Lush Review + More Fitness Stuff!

Spring is around the corner and it’s flip-flops, sandals and wedges season! That’s why I went to LUSH, because I needed something to smooth my heels. I recently tried Pumice Power from LUSH, and I love it! IT WORKS! This isn’t my first time trying LUSH products, but from my experience before, it was so and so. That’s why I’m thrilled to say that finally, I found a LUSH product worth reviewing.

I also had to get a new fitness mat. I got a Marika Fitness Mat and I’m excited to try it and use it daily!!! (Yes, I said daily.) No more excuses. I’m running out of excuses to NOT work out! And I thought I would get a pink one, but ended up getting this instead.

Lastly, I needed a new track jacket, preferably in black. I got the Puma Archive Logo T7 Track Jacket in Black.

It’s been raining here lately. Anyway, if you have any questions or comments, leave them down below! I hope you have a great weekend!
