Slip-On Mules/Loafers + IKEA Runs!

Can I just say, I’m obsessed with these shoes! I need another pair in Black. Anything slip-on mules/loafers, I’m into right now. It’s classic and comfortable. Love them!

Lately, I have been going to IKEA. Tonight, went there again with the family. Anyway, I have the urge to start painting again. I have not done so in a while. I’m going to just ramble, but my little nephew loves church! He is excited and can’t wait to go back. What a cutie pie!

Alright, hope you have a good weekend! Lord bless us all, xoxo.

Life Update + Design / Art!

Hello! I just want to update my blog, which is why I’m writing. I have been working the past two weeks for Ted Baker US Wholesale division as they asked me to help them. I’m really thankful for the experience. I LOVE TED! Everything is sooooo pretty!

Speaking of things that I love, here’s my cutie little nephew toddler:

Other than that, I’m back on having time to study (Yes, I’m still on it. Ugh). It’s okay, learning is fun and you grow knowledge. I also have time to paint again! YAY. I’m excited about that. I also on plan on attending my first calligraphy workshop in May. That’s definitely one of the things on my bucket list! That’s all for now. I’ve been shopping, but trying to save at the same time.

Alright, hope you have a great day. God bless! xoxo

10 Things I Would Tell My 16 Year-Old Self

Hi there! I am back to blogging today. I’m actually feeling really sleepy. So I figured why not blog to keep myself awake. Here’s a list of 10 things I would tell my 16 year-old self, if I could. So here it is:

1. Seize the day! Take every opportunity, not just with things that occupy your mind at the moment, but pertaining to your future as well.

2. Be yourself. It’s good to admire and to look up to other people, especially if they are older than you. But remember, you can make a choice to stand out and decide to be your own self.

3. Put God first! As a 16 year old, you have your future ahead of you. Make sure you put Him first and your plans will succeed.

4. Seek first the Kingdom of God. I believe this is important because it affects your life choices and the people you surround yourself with.

5. Follow and obey God. This is like a no-brainer. But when you realize that you’re a Christian, it’s your priority and you will make sure you do so in all areas and aspects of your life.

6. Listen to your parents. They know what is right and what is best for you. I’m blessed with godly parents, and they are an example to me.

7. Time is precious. Time flies! Whatever your goals are, the time is NOW! Don’t wait until you’re ready.

8. Not everyone will like you. Even if you think you’re a likable person, you don’t have to get other people’s approval.

9. Don’t give in to peer pressures. Whatever is going on around you, the latest trend or fashion. Be modest and be an example!

10. Learn to LET GO! It doesn’t apply to me when I was 16 years old, but it would be helpful if I learned how to do so later in life.

Thanks so much for reading this blog post! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! xoxo

Lush Review + More Fitness Stuff!

Spring is around the corner and it’s flip-flops, sandals and wedges season! That’s why I went to LUSH, because I needed something to smooth my heels. I recently tried Pumice Power from LUSH, and I love it! IT WORKS! This isn’t my first time trying LUSH products, but from my experience before, it was so and so. That’s why I’m thrilled to say that finally, I found a LUSH product worth reviewing.

I also had to get a new fitness mat. I got a Marika Fitness Mat and I’m excited to try it and use it daily!!! (Yes, I said daily.) No more excuses. I’m running out of excuses to NOT work out! And I thought I would get a pink one, but ended up getting this instead.

Lastly, I needed a new track jacket, preferably in black. I got the Puma Archive Logo T7 Track Jacket in Black.

It’s been raining here lately. Anyway, if you have any questions or comments, leave them down below! I hope you have a great weekend!

Wednesday vibes + Fitness

Happy Wednesday! I’m having Starbucks for breakfast and thought I would share what I normally eat that I consider as my healthy food go-to’s! For lunch, I usually get Starbuck’s Protein Bistro Box and a grande decaf iced coffee unsweetened (Coffee is always a good idea! It keeps me up during the day). For dinner, I may go to Whole Foods Market for their salad bar selections or hot food. As you probably know, Filipino food tends to be greasy. Though, I still eat Filipino food half of the time.

Last night, I stopped by the mall to pick up fitness gear and I was looking for mesh leggings! I had accidentally bought one from Macy*s a while back when I thought it looked weird at the time. I regret returning it and so I was on the look out for one. I got one finally from Aeropostale! Thankfully, it was on sale too.

Do you have any fitness tips you would like to share with me? What keeps you motivated? How do you stay in track of your fitness goals? Let me know. Have a great and wonderful day, loves! God bless.

Ted Baker Haul!

I have put off this haul for such a long time. I am barely getting around to posting it on my blog. I almost forgot about it. Last December, I helped at Ted Baker Sample Sale at the Cooper Design Space in Downtown LA. What a fun experience it was! I ended up getting a few things, and I want to share it:

As you can see, I got two (2) shopper bags, a mens sweater, an umbrella, a cosmetic pouch and then I was given some giveaways, two (2) notebooks with pens and two (2) cotton shopping bags.

Most were gifts and not for me, except the big brown shopper and the umbrella that I was suppose to give, but ended up being mine. Anyhow, this is it for my haul! ‘Til next time.

Happy Valentine’s Day to all! Share and celebrate God’s love!
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” -John 3:16

Before the New Year…

I just wanted to post about some of the pretty things I want. Lol. There’s nothing wrong with having what you want, nothing at all. Maybe next year! Or I should say hopefully next year. Will be my birthday present to myself or Christmas present. They’re all by Gucci. I don’t even want to look at their other accessories. Haha. That would make me want them even more. I’m leaning more towards the black color or pink. They’re in no particular order.

I babysat my little nephew today. He’s been a blessing to me and my family. He brings so much joy in our lives. He’s just so cute… and he’s turning 3 years old soon! Alright, have a Happy New Year and a blessed 2017! Lots of love!

Products Reviews!

My cutie little nephew, Jaylen 🙂

Here are my thoughts on my Instax Mini 8 by Fujifilm in White. As well as my new Fitbit Alta Fitness Tracker in Black. So, my Fitbit just alerted me and asked, “Wanna stroll?” Hah. Anyway…

Instax Mini 8 Camera:

Design: As you have probably already seen, this camera is the cutest! They’re available in different colors. I chose White because I have been wanting a White digital camera. I almost got a Hot Pink one from Best Buy, since they have a bundle which includes the case and some other stuff. But after seeing that I can purchase this from Michael’s with a matching case that I liked better, I was sold to get the White one.

Pros & Cons: I like the fact that you have a picture right away. After you snap a photo, you literally have your photo printing right before your eyes. Duh, that is the purpose of this camera. I think the films cost a bit much for a single photo. It’s better to wait for it to go on sale. If you don’t get the film on sale, a single film cost around a dollar, which can get pricey. So I recommend getting the film on sale. The camera lens also has settings which you turn the dial. I haven’t experimented much since I just got mine a few nights ago. But I really think this is fun! I highly recommend getting it if you’re thinking to do so.

Fitbit Alta Fitness Tracker:

Design: I love it! It is sleek and it goes well with whatever you’re wearing! I got mine at Nordstrom… I’m shocked they have this there. I’m even more impressed! Haha. I saw that they have a blush pink strap, which I think is cute, too. But after opening and trying on the Black one on my wrist, I’m satisfied.

Pros & Cons: I like everything that it tells you and what you should do. The number of steps you make, it alerts you when to move, it tracks your exercise, sleep, what you eat, etc. It also tells you the date, day and time. It’s like a watch, but it’s a fitness tracker! I like how it’s easy to use and you just sync it with your phone. They have interchangeable straps, which is convenient. A consequence for me though, is that the straps are hard to snap close together. I am still trying to master how to close it easily, without struggling. Other than that, I’m glad I got it. It doesn’t look like I’m wearing a fitness tracker, which is cool. If you have Fitbit, add me!

Hope these reviews help! Christmas came early to me. Thankful to Jesus! I’m very grateful and thanks for reading! If you have any questions, let me know. God bless your week! Love, Iris.

Christmas Wishlist 2016

Hi there! Sorry for the lack of post lately. Christmas is just around the corner, and I keep mentioning on my previous blog posts that I might do a Christmas wishlist. Well, here it is! With no particular order:

1. Instax Mini 8, Case and Films – I got mine from Michael’s last night. I’m incredibly happy I finally got one. ✓

2. Bath & Body Works 3-Wick Candles – I can never have enough candles! Just saying.

3. Ted Baker Scalloped edge shopper bag – I got this at their Sample Sale, and I’m obsessed. ✓

4. Ted Baker Glitter leather cross-body bag – I also wanted to get this, but decided not to.

5. Fitbit Alta – This is one of my early Christmas present for myself! Got it. Yay. ✓

By the way, I don’t know how I managed to give something for myself this Christmas. Especially if it’s tech related like a camera or even a Fitbit. Because I somehow feel guilty purchasing electronic stuff. Same thing when I once bought an iMac with printer ages ago (Ok, my parents got it for me and even with that, I felt guilty and HAD to return it.) Same thing with my MacBook Pro, which I finally get to stick with it, knowing that I need it, which took me forever to do so. I’m simply thankful. So, what’s your wishlist? I love Christmas! It’s the season of giving and Jesus is really the reason for the season. May you have a Merry Christmas!
