Blog Awards & Nominations!

My blog has been nominated by two different awards while I was MIA! I just saw this now, and I’m beyond grateful for this. Thank you to Katherine of thecomforttable.net and Hannah of enchasedthought.com 🙂

What is the Liebster Award? (Thank you Katherine of thecomforttable.net!) 🙂

The Liebster Award 2017 is an award that exists only on the internet, and is given to bloggers by other bloggers. The earliest case of the award goes as far back as 2011. ‘Liebster’ in German means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.

Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging because I have always been fascinated with graphic and web design. It is a great way for me to get creative by making designs for a blog or a website.

What does the name of you blog mean?
My current blog name is self-explanatory. I chose a very simple name for my blog.

What is your biggest struggle about blogging?
Putting content and writing! Lol. I like the design aspect of blogging, that’s for sure.

What is your go to snack?
Chips. This is so bad because we all know that it’s unhealthy.

What or who makes you laugh the most?
Definitely my nephew Jaylen.

What is your favorite quote to live by?

What is your favorite book and why?
Becoming a Woman of Worth Devotional. Because it is very encouraging, it is a good daily read and it provides bible verses for each devotional.

What is saving your life lately?
My nephew Jaylen, caffeine, my job/work and a whole lot of Jesus.

Name your favorite aspect of each season.
I think the fact that each season is different. So we tend change our style and what we do to relax and enjoy.

What is your favorite guilty pleasure?
Current favorite guilty pleasure is eating ice cream.

I have two favorite blogs that I sometimes take a look at. I admit, I’m not as active in reading blogs. I like these blogs because I like that I can get ideas from them and it inspires me with my own blog. I have other blogs I have bookmarked, but I find myself going back with these main two! 1. I took ballet for a year, if that amount even counts that I was once a ballerina!
2. In high school, I was class dance company secretary.
3. I’m a graphic/web design freelancer for Tinted Design.
4. I’ve always been interested in art growing up. I am so thankful I still get to be creative!
5. Pink is my favorite color. If you know me, you would know this fact!
6. My career has led me to design for church ministry and working in the fashion industry.
7. I love anything chocolate flavored!
8. I’ve experienced being heavily stressed… it wasn’t worth it.
9. I need to get back to my daily routine of exercise and diet.
10. Current motto: LOVE GOD. PEOPLE. ART & DESIGN.

Probably coming up with ideas on what to blog. Creativity block!

Being creative and also being able to share your thoughts at the moment.

Having a support system, music, praying and reading books that uplift my spirit.

None that I can think of… but maybe some type of fish.

Painting, shopping and singing!

Would you rather fly or sail somewhere? Why?
It doesn’t matter, but I’d probably prefer flying so I would get to my destination faster.

Who do you most admire, and why?
My parents because they are people that I look up to and with integrity.
