I want to greet my special friend a very Happy Birthday! So many celebrants this month of May! I don’t mind making another birthday post! Hehe. I just want to tell you Vicky, that you are a great friend, a fun person to be around with, and a natural girly girl! Haha. I love it! Keep your heart burning for Jesus! Since I am on this blog, I am going to mention that the picture above with Vicky shows how things were for me the past three years. I say this as past tense, because I always say that God has shown me mercy and I am given a second chance by His grace. You can see in my eyes how I am a wreck and I would say that I hit rock bottom. I may be smiling, yet my eyes says it all. Thankfully, God orchestrated things in His plan and gave me friends that would help me get better along the way. For that, I am grateful to Jesus! God is faithful. I am saying all of this to show my scars. Yes, I have been hurt and broken… emotionally… so much! My friends have no idea what I have been through (they still do not know up to this day and details not needed to surface, but I am writing this to give God the glory that He alone deserves). It is my desire to have true, godly christian friends, and I am thankful for friends like Vicky whose joy is to serve the Lord in every way she can! She is such a great singer, by the way.
P.S. – I want to say that I am not perfect either. I need Jesus. I am a sinner, saved by God’s grace. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” – Romans 3:23
