This week, I have been trying Filipino food from places I haven’t been to in Los Angeles. Yesterday, we went to Barrio Fiesta of Manila as birthday lunch for my aunt. We had Kare-kare, Sinigang, Fried Calamari, Sago Gulaman, White rice and Pancit. If you are Filipino, then you know what I am talking about. The server was nice and accommodating, which makes it a good place to eat.
Today, we went to Kalye Hits for the first time. It is a nice little restaurant that serves Filipino street foods! The price is reasonable in my opinion. You get five fish balls or shrimp balls for $2.50 each stick! I probably will come back because it is unique to have these items on a menu.
I dipped them in hot sauce and it tasted good. That photo shows the fish balls and I totally forgot to take a photo of the shrimp balls! Do you eat any street foods?
