Lovely day!

I woke up yesterday morning finding out that Stila Cosmetics has followed me. It made my day!

I will just rave about how much I love their products, especially their lip glaze. I would even give it as gifts to friends. It was a perfect gift to share for the girls. Today, I had an ephiphany but we will just leave it at that. Anyway, I had an interview with Stila years ago. I did not get the job, but hey.. they gave me free make up after my interview, introduced me to the staff, and I think I made a mistake with my salary expectations when I was asked how much. I asked too much or maybe somebody else who is more qualified got the job. The person interviewed me gave me a call just to say that I didn’t get the job. He added me on LinkedIn, and that is just a nice gesture of people who I am grateful until this day because that kindness made an impact in me as a designer. You see, I have some pretty funny experiences. I remember the time I had an interview for BCBG. I was complimented on the shoes I had on. And what do you know, it was from BCBGirls! Haha, I thought it was funny because I did not plan it, it just happened that those were my interview shoes. I wanted to say, “Well, you better like it… it’s your brand!”

Where will my dreams take me or lead me? I do not know. God sure knows what is best and I am waiting. He always leads me where He wants me to be, and not where I want to be. In my finite wisdom, I want to work for the place I think I want to. But like I just said, He has the grandest opportunities for me. I just need to focus and look at the bright side.
