We are not dying; We are being planted

Romans 6:5 (KJV) For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

It is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment; the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death: in so many ways however, we identify our struggles in this life with dying. Even Paul the apostle once said "for your sakes, we die daily."

1 Cor 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

We use the word 'dying' in anything unpleasant situations that we are going through. The sad part is that some dies in the process. How can we--who are already dead in Christ die some more?

How then we are to understand this?

John 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Our vision is short-sighted; we tend to make short cuts in every turn.

- We crave for blessing, blessing, blessing: not realizing that we are blessed already!
- Oh yes, we are co-heirs with Christ; but we are also identified with His sufferings.

We are Being Planted

Psalms 92:13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Planted to Stay

Matthew 15:13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

- When things seems to be unpleasant, as if we are going to be dislocated; do not be shaken, we are not really dying, we are being planted to be better.
e.g. If overtaken by competitors (enemies)

Planted to be Fruitful

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

When it seems like we are about to lose something: We are not dying; We are not losing anything--but perhaps, it will be for plenty!

1. Overwhelmed with so much debts
2. Maybe an accident happened

Changes Happens for the Better

2 Cor 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

- Most of us do not want change; We don't want to be disturbed; We want things to be as planned.

Dying Is No Loss to a Christian

We lose nothing worth keeping when we leave behind the body, as a dress not fitted for home, where we are going.

Prov 8:32-36 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
